Alien Ant Farm, the dudes who did the “Smooth Criminal” cover and got “Movies” stuck in our heads way back in 2001, have returned! Alien Ant Farm is now streaming their first new single in nine years “So Cold” from their upcoming album ~mAntras~ to be released April 26. If you’ve been missing that nü-metal “quieter bits that blow up into a positive-sounding chorus” thing that was rampant 20 years ago, you’re gonna love this.
“The new album might not be for the faint of heart, but it might be for the heart broken…” said Alien Ant Farm of the new record. They continued: “If you’re an Alien Ant Farm fan true and true, you won’t be disappointed, and if you’re just a visitor from another planet, we hope you enjoyed your extra terrestrial visit.”
