Judas Priest Double Dip with Release of “Crown of Horns” Music Video

There’s a little more than a month left before Judas Priest release their upcoming album Invincible Shield and we’re back here talking about their latest single “Crown of Horns.” Two weeks ago, the band officially released the track out into the wild, giving fans a chance to hear what’s pretty much the new record’s ballad. And yet here we are again, only this time we get to see the legendary act “record” the song.

Now, I know this isn’t actually footage of their recording session. Everything’s too clean. No one looks like they’re bored or tired replaying the same section for the 15th time to take a slightly different approach to the pre-chorus. Still, it’s a fun look at the dudes and their recording setup. I mean, when you’re as big of an act in metal as Judas fucking Priest, you get the best of the best.

As we previously mentioned, this song’s got a different vibe compared to previous singles “Panic Attack” and “Trial By Fire”. Honestly, the album’s shaping up to be pretty much a direct sequel to 2018’s Firepower, which is pretty exciting if you ask me. That album kicked all kinds of ass and this one’s shaping up to be more of the same. And I, for one, am excited about that prospect.

Invincible Shield will be available on March 8, but you can pre-order your copy today.

In addition to their album release, the band also has plans for a small U.K. tour this March with Saxon and Uriah Heep in tow. So if you’ll be in the area and want to experience the epicness of “Crown of Horns” live, be sure to check out the dates below.
