Many Eyes Drop New Single “Future Proof”

It’s been two months since we last heard from still sorta new-ish band Many Eyes, but we’ve finally got a new single to check out. The tune, titled “Future Proof,” rolled out moments ago and includes an accompanying music video ahead of their upcoming tour.

As you may or may not recall, Many Eyes is helmed by ex-Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley. Described at times as part of his recovery efforts in his fight against alcoholism over the last few years, the band is Buckley’s return to music entirely following the end of ETID. Considering the last two singles released by the band, “Revelation” and “Mystic Cord,” there’s a personal through-line that’s very apparent.

Speaking of “Future Proof,” Buckley says the lyrics he penned for it are all about pushing toward a better outcome in life, even if things seem way out of reach.

“‘Future Proof’ is about trusting your intuition in order to move from the certainty of hopelessness to the uncertainty of hope. It’s about disconnecting from present pain to begin a personal journey down a path towards recovery… a path full of unimagined beauty that ends in a true connection to the love that surrounds us all.”

Though there’s no info about the band’s debut album just yet, they’re going to be heading out on the road in a few days with Thursday and Rival Schools. If you’d like to catch Many Eyes live, be sure to check out their tour dates below.
