PALLBEARER Streams Lengthy, Saxy New Single “Endless Place”

Pallbearer is back with a new 10-minute single “Endless Place” and things get pretty saxy toward the middle. “Endless Place” features a saxophone solo from Norman Williamson of Amasa Hines, adding a perfectly somber mood to the song’s weighty subject matter.

“These are vignettes which tell the stories of people who deal with myriad sicknesses of the spirit,” said Pallbearer guitarist and vocalist Brett Campbell. “These are illnesses communicated by the world we live in, and the subjects are the symptoms of its disease.”

Pallbearer will release their new record Mind Burns Alive on May 17. Mind Burns Alive was self-produced in Pallbearer‘s newly constructed studio, Idlewild Audio, and at Fellowship Hall Sound. Reflecting on this, Pallbearer bassist and vocalist Joseph D. Rowland remarked: “It’s ironic given that the album is largely centered around isolation, but it felt like it summoned us into being back together again in one town, after so long apart.”

Mind Burns Alive is available for pre-order here. In addition, Pallbearer has also announced a massive tour featuring The Keening, Rwake, REZN, and Inter Arma. Get your tickets here.
